Homeschooling: Penguatan Akademik Dan Keterampilan Sosial Siswa

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat aspek prestasi akademik dan keterampilan sosial siswa homeschooling. Ini menyajikan argumen bahwa meskipun prestasi akademik sering digunakan untuk membandingkan prestasi akademik antara siswa homeschooling dan sekolah formal, hal itu menyajikan hasil yang beragam. Begitu juga untuk aspek keterampilan sosial di mana sebagian besar masyarakat meragukan kemampuan bersosialisasi siswa homeschooling, beberapa penelitian menunjukkan hasil sebaliknya, siswa homeschooling tidak memiliki masalah dalam keterampilan sosial. Artikel dibuka dengan uraian singkat tentang fenomena homeschooling yang berkembang pesat di beberapa negara. Tinjauan studi secara singkat memperkenalkan perkembangan homeschooling di beberapa negara, terutama negara barat, dan beberapa alasan yang memotivasi orang untuk memilih homeschooling. Diskusi menghadirkan enam artikel yang dipilih berdasarkan studi terkini terkait aspek prestasi akademik dan keterampilan sosial siswa homeschooling. Penelitian tentang homeschooling menghadapi banyak kendala karena tidak lengkapnya data di masing-masing negara.
